A Recent Picture of Myself
15 Interesting Facts about ME!
1. I am older than all of my friends in my same graduating class - EXCEPT Katie Butkus, who is 3 days older :)
2. My second toe is massively longer than my big toe, on both feet....think 1 whole inch longer!!
3. 3 of my 4 best friends each have a younger set of twin siblings. One's got two sisters, one's got a sister and a brother, and one's got two brothers!
4. Dominic and I have a stranger number of coincedences, my mom and his dad have Feb. birthdays (and both of our real dad's have the SAME birthday-day). My step-dad and his mom have Mar. b-days. I have two younger siblings, both boys, one's 16, one's 10. He has two younger siblings, both girls, one's 16, one's 11. Both of our dad's (my step) are named "Alan" spelled the same way. Both our moms work in education, and both went to Cal State's. . . lol
5. I'm on a diet
6. I can play almost any instrument 24 hours after being given it
7. I can't sing to save my life
8. I'd rather live somewhere, anywhere, other than California.
9. I am excited for my new job.
10. Kaelyn Faye's name was inspired by Grandma Leonard (Sandra Faye), and Grandma Zerpoli (Tracie Lynn).

Dominic's *Favorite* Lunch
I think it's about time I gave you all the recipe for my take on Mac and Cheese, it's Dominic's new favorite lunch, and it's a super quick meal, anytime! :)
Tori's Pesto-Pasta Bake
(all amounts are per serving)
1-1/2 c. cooked pasta (we like angel hair, but everything from elbow macaroni to cheese ravioli works)
1 tbs. pesto (we use store bought, but homemade works too! use more or less to taste)
1/2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Parmesan cheese (as much as you'd like!)
If pasta is cold - start here!
Mix pasta and pesto in a large bowl, you may need to use your hands.
add about half of the cheese and mix
put into a non-stick baking dish, such as a ceramic ramekin
add remaning cheese to the top, and sprinkle with as much parmesan as you'd like
stick in the oven and start it for 350, go ahead and make sure it's in WHILE the oven is preheating. Once it's at 350, time 2 minutes before changing the temp
If pasta is hot - start here!
next, put your broiler on high and wait about 5 minutes, or until cheese is brown and bubbly
let cool for 5 ish minutes and enjoy! :)

5K Event!
I juat wanted to take a minute and update you all on a 5k walk I am doing for charity!
I'm taking part in the Loma Linda Ronald McDonald House Charities 5k Walk! I'm doing this in honor of Jill Black's daughter Ashley, who thanks to them, recovered from a nasty heart infection at just 16 months of age! If you would like to donate towards our cause, we would be sooo appreciative!
